Regardless of a project’s size, JRE’s solid competitive advantages in business development and execution capabilities, from the project’s early development to its long-term operation, stem from the organization’s use of diverse human resources from various backgrounds (manufacturers, construction firms, environmental consultants, trading firms, financial institutions, etc.) who have the expertise and experience needed for the renewable energy business as well as its ability to raise significant funds through the arrangement of project financing and other types of financial transactions.
In cooperation with landowners of project sites and other local residents, as well as construction firms, financial institutions, and other diverse parties, JRE undertakes projects under autonomous general management that extends from preliminary surveys to business plan formulation, financing, equipment procurement, construction management, and operation/maintenance.
We value continued dialog with local residents from the initial stages of development and during the entire plant life from preliminary surveys to construction and operation after completion of construction, we conduct business so as to earn trust from the community and society.
Through such actions, we act as the operating body to conduct project management with long-term consistency, enabling the realization of power generation projects with a high level of certainty.
We continue to own and operate the power plants that we develop, and conduct stable, long-term operation of plants with top priority on safety.
We leverage the expertise we have built up through the development and operation of power plans to actively undertake the acquisition of existing power generation facilities, with the aim of expanding our business foundation.
In entering into the biomass power generation business, we formed a business partnership with Eco Green Co., Ltd. (current Eco Green Holdings Co., Ltd.), which manufactures and sells wood chips made from construction waste as a fuel provider to enable us to build a solid and stable long term sustainable operation from fuel procurement to power generation.
Utilizing the development, financing, and operational expertise that we have accumulated through solar and wind power generation projects, we will extend these horizontally into other power generation projects, creating synergies through the diversification of power sources.
As a company engaged in a business with societal and public relevance, compliance with laws/regulations is a top priority and take a proactive approach to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). Through the renewable energy-based power generation business, JRE will work toward the mutual prosperity of employees, business partners, local communities, and all other stakeholders, and will contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
